I really liked exploring the theme of Han. It is something that is really foreign to me, so it was hard at times to describe what Han is and find examples of it too. Almost every Korean product can have parts of Han found in it, so the examples are endless.
A common thing that I found that are apart of Han, is a lot of traditional songs or performances. Pansori and the song Arirang represent Han in a very abstract way but are perfect examples of what Han is. A lot of art incorporates Han just as other art will express racial issues or mental health. Each genre expressed different aspects of Han though. Some were more historical based, such as the Comfort Women, while others were a little more abstract like the Pansori.
The most interesting genre to me was either the documentary about the Sewol Ferry as it told a part of Han that was more relatable and easier for a Westerner to understand. I also really enjoyed exploring different performances of Pansori. A lot of the performances I found and the documentaries about Pansori were very interesting and I would really like to see one live one day.
