If this song is used with other mediums its most likely being used in a meme or a video that is showing peoples distaste for Donald Trump. The song is most commonly found on iTunes and Spotify or Youtube. It interacts with poetry because all music is poetry.

 

Subject: With songs the subject can be to spread political awareness, reach out to the youth and show them that their voices can be heard. It can also be used to bring people together and show unity between races. For example, in the original song YG goes “I f**k with Mexicans, I got a plug with Mexicans, want a little need a switch who I call? A Mexican.”

 

Participants: both of these songs were released under YG’s label, Def Jam And Interscope. The writers of the song released in August were YG, G-Eazy, and Macklemore. And the writers of the song released in April were YG and Nipsey Hussle. WorldstarHipHop also put out the music video of the first song, with YG and Nipsey Hussle. The readers of this song would be their fans and anybody who doesn’t support the trump administration.

Exigencies: these songs exists to show their fans and supporters their hatred for donald trump and to inform their younger fan group of what Trump represents so that they could make a more informed decision if they were to vote. These artists are very famous so they hoped that it could make an impact.
