Conclusion

Throughout this whole project of “What is the Meaning of Life?” I compared and contrasted the genres of song lyrics, a cartoon, a scholarly article, a quote, and a poem. Each had their own ways of defining themselves that were unique. Lyrics had the repeating chorus as their defining way. The cartoon had the art as their defining way. The scholarly article had the length as their defining way. The quote had the quotation marks and the name of the person as their defining way. And the poem had the format that it was written in and also from the meter it was written in. My favorite genre out of these six has to be the poem. It is a bit harder to get the meaning from it but that is part of the fun. My least favorite had to be the scholarly article because it was just so long and not that interesting.
