What Makes Snow Pink?

Have you ever come across pink snow while out hiking in the summer? Where it looks like someone spilled paint or a watermelon snow cone. We wanted to find out what causes it, so we headed into the North Cascades with the microbiologist Robin Kodner. (Hint: you probably won't want to eat it after you see what's in it.)
