You can participate anywhere in the world with our app (apple and android). There are a limited number of sample kits (approx. 200 regionally) that can be picked up at a partner location or mailed to participants.
We have focused our efforts thus far in the Pacific Northwest (the Cascades and the Olympics) and the Sierra Nevada ranges, but we also recruit volunteers from Colorado, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Alaska, and British Columbia (pending kit logistics).

If you can’t participate by making observations or collecting samples but still want to support our work, you can help us keep our project funded. We use donations to help support the ongoing costs of sample kit materials, postage, and sequencing costs.
