The WWU Men’s Volleyball team is a part of the Pacific Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (PIVA) and competes against DI and DII schools from across the Northwest. In a given season, we compete in 4-5 tournaments all across the region. In addition, the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation (NCVF) hosts a national championship competition that the team can travel to and compete in.
A great way to get involved is to come to our tryouts held in the fall. Our team practices 3 days a week and competitions start in the Winter Quarter. Outside of the court, our team interacts with the greater community, and we expect each player to contribute 8 hours of volunteer work. This is not only a university requirement, but aligns with our goal of encouraging men to compete in the sport of volleyball and contribute to the greater community. Additionally, we are a self funded club working alongside Western Washington University and charge a player due which is decided by our leadership.
