Welcome to the Metro Art Access: NYC.

Art 497E, Summer Session, June 23 – July 3, 2015.

This trip was inspired by a student professional development field trip to New York and Baltimore last year. After struggling to raise funds, and with the generous support from the Department of Art and Dean’s Office, 12 Western students were able to travel to the East Coast. While there, we witnessed an amazing transformation as students were awestruck by all that NYC has to offer. From MoMa to the International Center of Photography, and even simply walking down the streets of NYC, everyone was taken by the city.
