CHELSEA MARKET FOOD TRIP

The market was full of an array of food choices for whatever tickled your fancy. After a couple signs catching our attention, we decided to try for Korean Ramen at Mŏkbar. The ramen bar had “brothy” ramen and “saucey” ramen, with some vegan options as well. I thought the bulgogi saucy ramen was amazing – it came with kimchi, a poached egg, and pickled vegetables, and noodles on the bottom. The market reminded me a lot of Pike Place Market back home in Seattle. The shops, souvenirs, and food stands really made Chelsea Market one of my favorite stops during our “trip.”

Met Frida today at the MoMA Im glad she wasnt getting crowded by people. She was actually probably in the most mellow area of the whole museum. I was happy to see sooo many of my favorite people today. I mean I saw Klimt and Schiele in the same day. Seeing Klimts Woman in Gold was such an experience. It was nice and surprising to see his finished works were technically different than I imagined them to be.

MOMA!!

Its so surreal to actually be standing in front of these works of art! I got told not to stand so close to the Rothco which was frustrating because he designed many of his paintings to be viewed up close to affect how we see color. I told the guard this but he didn’t care.
