For our project, 24 random people were interviewed. In the beginning, we asked what their favorite genre of music was. Then, we played thirty second clips of each song shown under data. Each of these songs was a completely different genre from one another and had diverse underlying themes. For each song, we asked how the music made them feel, what images or memories they imagined while listening to the lyrics, and the color they correlated the song with. At the end, we asked which clip was their favorite in order to analyze the connection between what they believed their favorite genre was to the genre of the clip they enjoyed most.
