Applied IMC

In Applied IMC we worked as real marketers. Our Client? The Western Washington University’s Marketing Department!

We made content and posts for our target market, the future and current marketing students of WWU and the marketing alumni of WWU. We applied Hootsuite and used it to post to the WWU Marketing Instagram, Facebook page and group, Twitter, and LinkedIn group.

We extensively used Canva in order to make our graphics and crafted the posts in order to show WWU’s brand elements like colors, fonts, and values.

An example of content that I made for the WWU Marketing program. I designed the graphic, wrote the description, and later performed analysis on the analytics from the post.

I also posted this graphic to the WWU Marketing Facebook page and group, Twitter, and LinkedIn group.

It has been really great to see my marketing content go out into the world, and notice the people who interact with it! It feels good knowing that my content has an impact on those who see it, and I cannot wait to make more impacts in my marketing content.
