Kathryn Neville (she/her/hers)
Kathryn Neville (M.S) coordinates evaluation and audience research at the Milwaukee County Zoo. Her work focuses on understanding many facets of the zoo experience – from customer service surveys to special programs and exhibit evaluation. She is excited to investigate effective ways to connect our guests with wildlife in ways that protect animal welfare and lead to measurable pro-conservation behavior change.
While her background is in anthropology with an archaeology focus and museum studies, transitioning to the zoo world allowed her to combine her passion for studying humans with her life-long love of animals.
Kathryn is happiest among her animal “co-workers”. It doesn’t matter if it is a baby Bactrian Camel, or a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach named “Bob”. They are all her favorite.
