May is Better Hearing and Speech Month
The Month of May is Better Hearing and Speech Month (BHSM)! This year the WWU Chapter of National Student Speech-Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) plans to celebrate Better Hearing and Speech Month virtually. There are events planned throughout the month of May including a Virtual Walk, Social Media Scavenger Hunt, and “My Beautiful Stutter” movie screening.

- Virtual Walk
- Will be held throughout the entire month of May
- Donations through the EMarket
- Suggests trails per donation tier
- Benefits Opportunity Council (https://www.oppco.org/) chose d/t Bellingham community support outside of our campus esp. during these unprecedented times.
- Scavenger Hunt
- Will be held throughout the entire month of May
- Prize – $15 Amazon Gift Card – given to participants with the most posts
- Daily tasks will be posted on Instagram
