The Office of Student Life is dedicated to supporting the learning and development of students, and creating an environment that fosters student success and graduation. Our primary purpose is to ensure the well-being and success of Western students. We work closely with students (and their family members), faculty, and staff, in support of this purpose. We also collaborate with a number of campus departments, including the Counseling Center, Registrar’s Office, Student Health Center, University Police, and University Residences.
Staff members in the office are available to provide general assistance with problem solving and referrals; to support students in crisis; to advise students on university policies and procedures, including the Student Conduct Code; and to process dean’s letters and letters of recommendation.
The Office of Student Life is part of the Division of Enrollment and Student Services and operates under the leadership of the Assistant Dean of Students.
