We conducted this survey to gain insight on Washingtonians’ opinions on pro-life and pro-choice influence in a social and legislative setting.

Most of our survey takers were students from Western Washington University, ages 19 to 25. 84.5% of participants identified as pro-choice. 58.8% associated themselves with the Democratic Party.

Only 4.1% of participants identified as pro-life. 7.2% associated themselves with the Republican Party. The majority of participants were female identifying.

Although this survey did not include all demographics of WA State, it did confirm our hypothesis that political climate in a region affects individual attitudes towards abortion groups.

For the purposes of our research, we concluded that our data was too biased to give us an accurate sense of Washington as a whole, and we therefore excluded it from the project, due to the unnecessary information.
