Three WWU BFA candidates; Beaudry Allen, Jessica Bloom and Dylan Vogel will be presenting at regional SPE conference. Every year the BFA students produce artwork varied in both medium and content. As a group they reflect the spirit of the Art Department and the diversity of the broader Western community. As individual BFA Candidates, they work toward the production of a body of work for final exhibition, which is challenging, both conceptually and formally. It is always a thrill to participate in the BFA committee process; the strength of BFA Studio program not only attests to the dedication and hard work of the participants but also to the dedication of their instructors, BFA Coordinator, and Department faculty/staff, who tirelessly work to encourage the students to research, create, and exhibit compelling art.
