The Society for Photographic Education (SPE Northwest) will hold its annual conference, “Illuminate and Provoke,” from October 21 to 22, 2017, on the Oregon State University campus in Corvallis, Oregon. The conference will last a duration of two days. Hosting photographic workshops, presentations & discussions, featuring the works of Christopher Russell, Rafael Soldi, Nicole Jean Hill, and Alexis Pike, with Richard Miscrach as the keynote speaker. SPENW welcomes proposals from photographers, artists, writers, educators, curators, historians, and professionals from other fields. Deadline and Submission Details
- Proposal submissions are due by MAY 15, 2017, 11:59 PM PCT. Submit proposals to spenw.proposals@gmail.com
- Include in one PDF package no larger than 20 MB:
- Presentation Title
- Presenter Name(s)
- An 80-120 word biography of each presenter or panel member
- Up-to 500 word description of your proposal
- Equipment or space-needs (particularly for workshop proposals)
- Up-to 10 jpeg images (embedded in the PDF package)
