This is a team-thematic project investigating the rich history behind and the physical construction of self-portraiture.
It is inspired by the examples of photographers including: Richard Avedon, Vivian Maier, Cecil Beaton, Yousuf Karsh, Nan Goldin, Sally Mann, Lee Miller, Man Ray, Walker Evans, WeeGee, Arthur Tress, Thomas Ruff, Andreas Feininger, Catharine Opie, Carrie Mae Weems, Jo Spence, Yasumasa Morimura, Cindy Sherman, John Coplans, Ralph Eugene Meatyard, Danny Lyon, Lee Friedlander, Garry Winogrand, Robert Mapplethorpe, Annie Leibovitz, David LaChapelle, Thierry Le Gouès, Claud Cahun, Miles Aldridge, Ellen von Unwerth, Gay Block, Hannah Wilke, Rineke Dijkstra…etc.
