Matthew Marinez is a current student in the BA Art Studio program at Western Washington University.
Narrowing in on what’s around us, he prefers to focus on the mundane and document scenes that most wouldn’t give a second thought to. With an emphasis on utilizing medium format film, Marinez has a very deliberate and slow process while making images – everything is intentional.
