This project invites students to explore any theme using the Holga toy camera and allows the opportunity to utilize the larger format 2¼ negative. As noted in the Holga instruction manual, every Holga is different, and each image created with the Holga is unique. Countless artists have used Holga to create sophisticated and powerful work. This gives students a chance to explore the magic of Holga!

Exploring the triptych format, arrange your images so that you create a dialogue/narrative with your images. For example: a dog running across a field, someone jumping, or arranging objects so that the panels correspond and create a cohesive piece.

Now on display in the hallway case of WWU’s Fine Arts Building.
