January 11, 2024 – March 10, 2024
Photographic Center Northwest
From January 11 to March 10, 2024, Stranger Fruit will be up at the Photographic Center Northwest. New York artist John Henry uses both photography and text in this exhibition, creating photographs in reaction to the murder of black men by police in America. Henry set out to photograph mothers holding their sons, to examine the grief and pain of black mothers who remain to mourn their lost sons.
