Show at the Mount Baker Theatre, hosted by the Whatcom Museum
The Whatcom Museum is hosting a presentation/talk led by photographer Ronan Donovan. This “biologist-turned-photographer’s” works have been featured in National Geographic, his films have aired on BBC and PBS’s Nature, and many of his pieces have also hung in London’s Natural History Museum and the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Donovan’s works are currently showing at the Whatcom Museums National Geographic’s Greatest Wildlife Photographs show, which is up from March 9th to September 8th, 2024.
The Whatcom Museum is also offering all students a 20% student discount. Pricing is dependent on the seat you choose, but all prices appear to be between $20-$35 at base prices before discount. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn more about the photography of Ronan Donovan, National Geographic, and publication and/or museum shows for their future careers as photographers.
