David Hockney inspires me because he goes beyond the idea of a single frame creating an image. He isn’t limited by one exposure; he uses many, and in turn, it forms a new image of the same thing but with an entirely different mood and effect. He changes perspective, he changes lines and morphs what our mind knows to be true. This, to me, is thinking really hard about the desired effect and the intent of one’s photograph.
