Michael Kenna’s photographs of serene landscapes have been shown in galleries and museums throughout the world, including Tacoma Art Museum’s current exhibition Collecting for the Future: The Safeco Gift and New Acquisitions and G. Gibson Gallery’s exhibition Huangshan, on view November 25, 2011 through January 7, 2012. In this slide lecture, Kenna will present an overview of his work to date and discuss his aesthetic approach to the photographic medium. Cost: $15 ($10 for members, $5 for students). Includes museum admission.
