Practice qualitative analysis techniques

• Thematic Coding

Learn how principles of cognition apply to web design

• Heuristic Evaluation
• Prototyping

For each assignment, there will be a sequence of 4 steps:

• Learn about the technique & do knowledge check
  • 20% of grade
• In-class practice
  • 10% of grade
• Homework where you will practice on your own and write a report documenting what you did
  • 45% of grade
• Apply the technique to the class project
  • 25% of grade
