Western’s rules coordinator oversees the University’s rule-making process, including the review, creation, amendment, and repeal of Western’s Washington Administrative Code rules (Title 516 WAC). In carrying out this function, the rules coordinator works with the Attorney General’s Office, the President’s Office, and the Board of Trustees for final adoption. In addition, the rules coordinator maintains the rule-making docket, plans and facilitates public hearings, and produces the required legal notices for the press.
