Conference participation has many benefits. You’ll meet the region’s leading scientists, policymakers, and practitioners, and connect your coursework or research to real-world efforts to restore and protect the Salish Sea. Consider volunteering at the conference to receive reduced or waived conference registration!
Volunteer duties may include helping with poster set-up and take-down, supporting sessions (including potential AV needs), and supporting field trips. Volunteers will be asked to attend a brief volunteer training and information session, likely to be held the day or evening before the conference begins.
- Volunteer for 4 hours: receive a $100 discount
- Volunteer for 8 hours: receive a $150 discount
- Volunteer for 12 hours: receive a $200 discount
Volunteer opportunities are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Students will have priority.
To request volunteer status, complete and submit a short
Volunteer Application. Every effort will be made to contact volunteer applicants within one week to inform them of their status and to provide them special conference registration instructions. Please submit the Volunteer Application before registering for the conference; once selected, all volunteers must register.
