Conference participation has many benefits. You’ll meet the region’s leading scientists, policymakers, and practitioners, and connect your coursework or research to real-world efforts to restore and protect the Salish Sea. Consider volunteering at the conference to receive reduced or waived conference registration!
Volunteer duties may include helping with poster set-up and take-down, supporting sessions (including potential AV needs), and supporting field trips. Volunteers will be asked to attend a brief volunteer training and information session, likely to be held the day or evening before the conference begins.
Volunteer opportunities are limited, and when the application process opens, positions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Students will have priority.
