How to print a name tag on the Glowforge Pro

Step 1

Make your design in Adobe Illustrator. Your design must be no more than 4 inches wide. You need to save it as a PDF or SVG. If the SVG is rejected a PDF will work. Find a font you like, type your name. Size it up or down. Add a rectangle if you want a tag. If you want just script, all your letters need to connect. Select your font. From the drop down menu choose Type and Create Outlines. In Properties (RT side of screen) Make certain you have NO Fill and Stroke is .001 pt. It will not cut unless those selections are made. Save.

Step 2

Go to https://app.glowforge.com/

Sign up for a free account. Upload your file and configure design and select your materials. Manually adjust the cutting power and speed with intructor permission. When you are ready turn on the air cleaner and wait for it to start.  Then press print on the GlowForge!

Please use these settings:

Only use materials on table next to Glowforge. If no material is on top of the table, we are out and you must wait for Sasha to return.
