Elementary Summer Camp

SEA Discovery Center’s Elementary Marine Science Camp runs this summer; Monday, July 15-Friday, July 19 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Youth in grades 3-5 are welcome!

Come explore the creatures and stories of the sea! We’ll study orcas and octopus, salmon and sea cucumbers, tiny plankton and towering kelp. Participants marvel at the mysteries beneath the water’s surface and enjoy hands-on explorations with marine plants and animals, large and small! Have our child bring their questions and detective skills as we expand our knowledge and ponder puzzles. What challenges do sea creatures experience? What can you do to help these amazing organisms? Dress for adventures: we are learning outdoors during low tide at Liberty Bay. Creative time in art and writing each day helps us celebrate and share our knowledge of the sea.

Youth program participants and staff must abide by all University regulations and program rules.
