Middle School Summer Camp


What is happening in Liberty Bay? Come explore Liberty Bay through field investigations! Get your hands wet and dirty learning about life under the surface of Liberty Bay and on its shore to better understand its ecology. In addition to exploring the Aquarium and Floating Field Lab on the Bay, we will be taking a low tide beach excursion, so prepare for excitement, and some walking.

Youth program participants and staff must abide by all University regulations and program rules.

Date: August 6 – 10, 2018
Time: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Audience: Ages 10-14
Cost: $150 per person

Five Full Days at the SEA Discovery Center!

Students are asked to bring:

  • Enthusiasm and a curious mind
  • Short sleeve shirt to keep dry at the touch tank
  • A jacket
  • Closed-toed shoes
  • A snack
  • A water bottle
  • Any additional items specified in course description

Parking at the SEA Discovery Center is available for you, but is limited. There is public parking available in downtown Poulsbo. Please allow for time to park and walk to the Center.

Cancellation Policy

All classes and programs are self-sustaining and subject to minimum enrollments. Cancellations must be made seven days in advance of the session and must be submitted in writing through youth@wwu.edu. Refunds are available to those who have canceled in the appropriate time frame, less a $25 handling fee.
