Middle School Marine Science Camp

 

What is happening in Liberty Bay? Explore, discover and get wet! With Liberty Bay just outside our back door, marine life comes alive with science based hands-on field investigations, activities and crafts. A week at the SEA Discovery Center provides a window into the connections between the tiniest plankton to the largest whales and everything in between. This program is led by experienced Middle School Educators and NaVSEA Educators with a focus on fun, wonder and marine science.

Youth program participants and staff must abide by all University regulations and program rules.

Students are asked to bring:

  • Enthusiasm and a curious mind
  • Short sleeve shirt
  • Jacket
  • Closed toe shoes
  • Water bottle
  • Sack lunch

Parking

Parking at the SEA Discovery Center is available for you, but is limited. There is public parking available in downtown Poulsbo. Please allow for time to park and walk to the Center.

Cost Details

$150 per youth

Cancellation Policy

All classes and programs are self-sustaining and subject to minimum enrollments.

Cancellations must be made seven days in advance of the session and must be submitted in writing through SEAeducation@wwu.edu. Refunds are available to those who cancel before August 1st, minus a $25 handling fee.

Scholarship

Scholarships available upon request.
