Preschool Science Club: Explore Sea Creatures

Ages 3-5. Children take a closer look at sea animals and plants. Through interactive lessons, preschoolers learn more about the underwater wonders, large and small, around Kitsap Peninsula. Stories, crafts and engaging activities provide opportunities to develop creativity and skills. Parents welcomed to stay and participate. $30/youth. Register through Poulsbo Parks & Recreation.

Elementary Science Club: Dive Deep into Earth and Marine Science

Grades 3-5. Take a deep dive into the three biospheres and marine science topics through hands-on investigations and experiments. Explore questions like: What phenomena occur in the three biospheres? What unique animals live in the biospheres? Why is water so important and unique to the world? How can we use a microscope to discover more about our surroundings? $60/youth. Register through Poulsbo Parks & Recreation.

Middle School Science Club: Explore the Mysteries of Water and Marine Science

Grades 6-8. Is your child fascinated by marine science and the mysteries of water? With hands-on explorations, they begin to identify and understand the aquatic world around us in Liberty Bay and beyond. Experiment with the unique properties of water and examine this molecule’s multiple roles on our planet. Learn how important water is for human health and how sea creatures live and thrive in marine environments. $60/youth. Register through Poulsbo Parks & Recreation.

Marine Detectives Kids Camp

Grades K-2. What lives in the Puget Sound, the marine water all around us? Participants put on their detective caps to explore and discover clues on how life works in this watery world. Through stories, crafts and engaging activities evidence arises to solve this underwater mystery. $60/youth. Register through Poulsbo Parks & Recreation.
