Before I jump into this weeks blog prompts let me bring back a little nostalgia. Seinfeld. I’ve watched every single episode. Hundreds of times. But this is E&I so of course I will relate this back to class content. In particular, pitching on the fly. Kramer pitches one of his MANY idea’s he has and Seinfeld isn’t having it. This had me dying laughing. Hope you get a good laugh out of it too.
How are you preparing for success this quarter?
- Connecting with all my peers. Over the past three quarters I’ve learned that prioritizing building relationships is KEY to how fully one shows up for success in the E&I program.
- Creating a habit of reviewing the class calendar at the beginning and end of each week.
- Time management, for sure!
- Taking care of my health and wellness outside of class and school, to best show up for myself, my teammates and our projects.
What do you expect for E3 this quarter?
I expect:
- Big connections.
- Big self-confidence growth.
- Big empathy building.
- Big MEANING.
- Big adventure.
How might you apply this week’s learnings to your venture?
I took away so much from Art’s lecture. From reflecting on radical responsibility to inviting all of us to be curious. But what I wrote on the post it note below stuck with me. Self confidence? This is the key to seeking out curiosity and I love how this class uses it’s platform to cultivate our own unique power’s.
What did you love about this week?
I loved…
- experiencing how teamwork, done with empathy, passion and drive has the power to create and innovate beautiful products. Products with the intention to positively change lives. SO AWESOME.
What would have loved to achieve this week?
- Improved time management
- Less time spent on social media
Lessons and experiences learned from VP1?
Lessons I learned from VP1 would be:
- POA POA POA
- No matter what the first 10 minutes should intentionally be focused on connection building among teammates
- Toolkit videos!!!!!
What’s next??
- VP2!!!!
- Amazing traction journal posts
- Applying what I’m learning to my ventures outside of the program 🙂
Hi Kristina!
So nice to meet you! I love the way your organized this! It’s very succinct and to the point, very easy to read and understand! I have not really seen Seinfeld, I can’t say if I am a fan, I just have never seen a full episode! I love how bright and colorful your journal is! It was so fun to read through and see all of the photos you added as well! Healios was so innovative! I also struggle a lot with my self confidence, however, it has been something I have been able to work on so far in my journey through this program. We are in this together! We got this! Looking forward to learning more about you and working with you on VP2!

Taking care of yourself is so important and I’m glad that’s one of your focuses and it sounds like you have a BIG quarter planned! 🙂 I really loved what you loved about this week, it’s so true what a huge difference empathy makes and I also really like the idea of using the first 10 minutes of a meeting connecting with each other. I know I have a tendency to get into work mode and just dive straight into things so that’s a great reminder how important the peopling side of things are.
First of all, I love your Traction Journal 1 layout! Everything grabbed my attention. I wasn’t a Seinfeld fan before, but that might change. I also really liked your quote you shared. Great job with your project. I could really see the time and effort your team put into it and the presentation. I can’t wait to see what else you come up with.
