Hey guys! Just wanted to leave this quote here by James Clear. If you’ve been reading my posts, you know how much of a fan I am of his work. What really impacts me about this quote is the last sentence which say, “You fall to the level of your systems. Which I may have already posted on a post it notes in previous post, but I can’t shake this and how re looking at my habits more in their current systems, especially in regard to next quarter, could benefit my work.

How are you guys feeling about your current habits as we near the end of the winter quarter?

What are you super proud of in your venture project right now?

I’m super proud of the interviews I’ve conducted and the powerful conversations which have happened as a result. Truly incredible professionals in the athletic world and I feel really fortunate to have the skills to hold empathy driven interviews.

What blocks or challenges are you experiencing with your venture project? (interviews, canvases, secondary research, or prototypes)

Whewww. This has been a tough, beautiful, messy, confusing, revealing quarter. Especially, in regard to VP2 and it’s easier for me to draft a list of the challenges I am experiencing.

  1. Clarity of the prototype
  2. Clarity in the direction I want to zone in on.
  3. Courage to show up as the great leader I know I am
  4. Possibly addressing some imposter syndrome in regard to coaching/mentorship

What resources could you reach for on the website or other platforms to help you solve any problems you are experiencing?

I love this question. Because I’ve been thinking a lot about what my available resources are regarding the problems, I’m having with VP2. Here are a couple resources/platforms I plan on using:

  1. Meeting up with Meg and Tara
  2. Sharing my pitch with Coach Ginger and getting her thoughts as someone who is a leader in the field
  3. A VISION BOARD for the Gymnast Joy deck AND the blog/podcast

  1. James Clear’s work is AMAZING! I have yet to read his book, but it is on my list. Even just his videos are so impactful. As were nearing the end of Winter quarter I am starting to feel better about my habits. It takes me about a month to get my habits fully flushed out, and then it feels amazing. A habit I have implemented over this quarter that has made a huge impact is eating breakfast in the morning. I did not realize how much of my energy was lacking from not properly fueling my body. Kristina I am so proud of you in the things you are doing and change you are going to make. You got this. One of my favorite podcasts ends with the quote “go make it your mission to make someone else’s day better.” This reminds me of you today. Go make today great my friend!
