Practice Vs. Habits #7

Full article here: Experience Institute | Habits vs Practices (expinstitute.com)

I just recently became aware of a blog by the Experience Institute and it’s amazing! Here’s the link >>> Experience Institute | Blog Home (expinstitute.com) But I wanted to point out this most recent blog post of theirs’s on building a practice rather than habit tracking. I think this directly correlates to the E&I program, especially in regard to events such a presentation or pitch days. Let me know what you think.

What do I want to practice next?

>To become financially educated/knowledable

>To show up as an entreprenur every day

> To be someone who takes the risk to ask for what she wants

Sawyers Presentation

Sawyer gave a lecture where she talked about business legal structures, budgeting, and revenue models. She ended her lecture with a Kahoot at the end of class and followed up by sharing her slide deck so that we could all have them for personal reference 🙂

This, in my opinion, was one of the most resourceful lectures of the quarter one, because she is great at presenting and two, because the content of her lecture was something I really needed direction on. My VP2 is in the stage of financials and before her lecture I was not confident on where to start.

I left her lecture feeling inspired and motivated to put my feet in.

Shift n Share

I LOVE Shift n Share. It’s always so fun and interesting to experience what the E4’s come up with to share with the rest of us. This quarter I loved to see the different topics like meditation (self-care), nature walk, and free resources when it comes to designing pitch decks.

I wasn’t able to be there in person for this workshop but some of my peers were nice enough to let me follow along on their phones with zoom. Here’s a picture they took on their walk:

THE BEST PROGRAM HANDS DOWN.

Change Leadership

Change Leadership this quarter has required a lot of reflection journaling and tracking. I always love this project. I am very much in the midst of it still, so I look forward to reporting back with some thoughts regarding what I’m learning about myself.
