TJ #10: Quarter Reflection

This quarter I…

This quarter? This quarter was intense, fun, confusing, supportive, directional, full of conversation, and a reflection period in and of itself.

This quarter? This quarter was full of new discoveries.

This quarter? This quarter is one where I could list 10 things, I learned about not asking for guidance sooner.

This quarter? This quarter I gained so many new connections through interviews and their leads.

This quarter? This quarter I wish I would have done more creative prototypes in my free time.

This quarter? This quarter I started I continued a venture I’ve been working 5+ years on.

This quarter? I did not keep up with commenting on others traction journal posts like I had in the past.

This quarter? This quarter I gained HUGE insight into the pains of what’s happening with the current gymnastics culture.

This quarter? This quarter I started growing as a content writer, specifically LinkedIn.

This quarter? This quarter I gained amazing friendships within the E&I community.

The class day that I gained the most traction was…

probably my time during Facilitative leadership just because it was so interwoven with the work I’m currently doing with my own venture.

and for my won personal growth was Arathi’s guest lecture.

I felt most empowered during the quarter when…

I looked at the 70 plus survey responses where 25 gymnastics leaders shared they would be interested in continuing the gymnastics culture and I was like yeah I knew I was onto something. And not only that I have more people than I realized who are willing to support and join in on the vision.

I felt most challenged when…

I was listening to the coaches feedback after my pitch. I knew what they were saying was super valid and that I had work to do. But I didn’t lose faith in my why. So the challenge was defiantly accepted.

Also…

In the face of challenge, when I’m working with these girls it’s like the challenges don’t matter. I’m willing to do what it takes to keep them safe, seen, heard and supported no matter what.

Extra Resources:

I wanted to include these next couple resources I’m currently using moving into spring break and into the new spring quarter. These resources specifically are of powerful importance to my ventures of creating safe spaces in which athletes are seen, heard and supported. I wanted to include them just in case they might also inspire your own ventures, lives, creativity, entrepreneurship motivation, etc..

I am blessed to have been granted access to your traction journal. These are amazing! You are so organized and obviously passionate about your work and it really amazes me. I also really love how your journal read like a poem. It felt so intentional to read this and I hope I get to be in a group with you so I can appreciate you more:)
