Hey! So, since this traction journal prompt has a lot to do with plans of action and those systems, I wanted to share how I went about gaining some inspiration to innovate mine. I’ve always been inspired by Simon Sinek’s TED Talk on starting with why and wanted to bring that same energy to my venture. I took a couple notes using a mind map and then built my own inner why core. After reflecting on the mind map and the notes I decided to incorporate this at the top of my POA for a constant reminder that I want to operate from the inside out.
Most of you I assume have watched his TED Talk before and so had I. But each time I learn something new that proves really important to how I want to show up in the world as a changemaker, entreprenur and innovator.
What did you think of what Mr. Sinek had to say?
What was the process you took to create your Plan of Action?
I have learned a lot about the process of creating plans of action over the past couple quarters. Mainly including what not to do LOL or at least overcomplicating and then not successfully wanting to use the plan of action. So, this quarter I decided to simplify. By simplify I mean I kept it to a Word Doc, simple uses of tables, and a few distinguishable colors.

I decided to also include at the top of the POA the AIM SMART method. I had watched Dr. Sherwood’s videos on this method of compartmentalizing goals before but never had sat down and used the method in regard to any of my venture projects. SO happy I took the time to do this. It really put me in the right head space moving forward. I’ve included his video below:
What is your plan for sticking to the Plan of Action?
My plan to sticking with my plan of action is systemizing it so that it’s included in my every day. Check email, check upcoming assignments, and CHECK POA 🙂 I love keeping a daily traction journal for venture projects and I incorporated this into my POA which inspires me to keep it updated.
I’m a huge fan of James Clear, author of Atomic Habits. I keep a link to his IG at the top of my POA for inspiration.

How are you feeling about Venture Project Two? What areas do you feel good about? What areas do you need more clarity on?
I’m feeling a lot better after Ugly, But Tasty! and the feedback from my peers. To be honest I’m kind of struggling with self confidence in regard to believing I can actually launch. I need to unpack why I’m feeling this way I think. LOL But I feel really good about my purpose and why. Areas I need more clarity on would definitely be zoning in on a specific target market/customer. From the evidence the biggest pain areas seem to be with coaches but focusing on a product/service for the athletes (aka for parents to invest in) is also a direction that could be really successful. I could also use some clarity on what launch really means. I’m really interested in designing a revolutionary gym, but it would be unrealistic to launch.
Other Relatable Things 🙂
I highly recommend listening to this episode.

Hey Kristina! It feels so weird basically not working alongside you this quarter! How’s it going? Alsooo your Ugly but Tasty is no where near ugly?? After reading through your TJ this week I think we need to talk soon because I need to hype you up! You are doing so well, and I wish you would believe in yourself!! I hope weeks five and six are better, please take some time to reflect and believe in YOU! Look how far you have come my friend!
It seems like you planned on doing some introspection in regards to launching. What conclusions have you come to since this post?
You 100% need to unpack that feeling away!!!!! You freaking got this seeing all your hard work and your motivation to change something so close to your heart is refreshing!!! I have nothing but fate in your launch!
