Hello and welcome to our first edition of Ambient Mondaze.
Why not? It’s hard getting out of bed after a luscious weekend isn’t it. So why not linger in the afterglow. It’ll be Wednesday before you know it! Today we start with 2 hour long tracks, one from the awesome Frameworks Radio! Do check them out. Each week they release a new episode featuring fantastic soundscapes, melodic field recordings and odd pings and zips for the ears to eat up as you wander through your daze. I’ve featured them on Sound.Out a lot. [frameworkradio.net]
Then another one from Sound.Outs own Chris Barrett, this one’s called Friday, because it’s Monday. Makes perfect sense if you think about it, but don’t think too hard. Then another track by the fantastic Hildegard Westerkamp, a atmospheric track by artist, scholar, engineer Andrea Poli, a track from my series lessons from the forest, and some experimental sounds from Western students to fill out the mix. I hope you like it. Let me know @sashpetrenko
Come to our opening reception this Thursday where we’ll be debuting 3 new tracks from Sound.Out productions. Till then, thanks for listening… Sasha
