Blue Skies for Children

In spring 2022, I was partnered with a Bellingham, WA-based nonprofit, Blue Skies for Children, as part of a service-learning class at WWU. Throughout the course, I created various PR materials for them. Some of the materials were assigned to be complete, while others were created independently based on the client’s PR goals.

Blue Skies for Children’s PR goals were:

  1. Increase outsider funding through donor support and relations
  2. Further community engagement and awareness through a more consistent online presence and branding.

PR materials determined by their needs and goals included social media posts, a community engagement plan, and revised website pages.

Some of the work assigned during the course was a branding guide, radio, print, and video PSA’s, and social media plan.

Website Mockup

As individual work outside of class, I created a mockup for BSFC website. I used Adobe XD to create this mockup and prototype. I created three separate pages for them: 1) Home/Landing 2) Programs and Drives and 3) Donate

I prototype a few elements including, the drop-down menu heading, ‘Donate’ and ‘Apply Now’ buttons, and carousels. BSFC logo will take users to the top of the landing page. The ‘Give Monthly and Give Once’ tabs are also prototyped.
