We found that fear could have been a driving factor in the discussion of fate, as some believed the physical representations of fate were more powerful than the gods themselves. Lack of knowledge and a sense of injustice might also have factored into the discussion of fate. We would still like to know if gender had any influence on the differing views of the gods of fate, and how that particular theme is represented in myths of other cultures around the world. This research process was important to conduct because mythology is still relevant in this day and age, especially as people look to discover themselves. We hope that our processes can be used in future explorations of specific themes in mythology.
