Methodology

We decided that a survey would be the best choice of methodology for our research topic, because it allowed for us to ask a wide variety of students our question to gather the most results possible. Our survey consisted of fourteen questions that all related in some way, shape, or form to our research topic of substances. Including questions such as “Have you ever participated in the use of drugs?” which a broad question is, but we then followed it up by asking the students that used substances what substances they used. Such as marijuana or alcohol or even nicotine. Our methodology resulted in an affective way because we gathered a wide variety of data over a spectrum of students from different grades and with different interests. The survey was also the best option to use for these quick and fast results, as our survey only took a minute or two to answer. Which helped attract surveyors because it didn’t take too much of their time to fill out the survey and submit it.
