Against the backdrop of anti-racism protests across the country and in Bellingham, racist activity increases in Bellingham. White supremacist flyers were left on doorsteps in the Bellingham’s Lettered Streets Neighborhood. A number of people were seen carrying assault rifles in downtown Bellingham in a display of intimidation. A man was seen shouting racial epithets near the Buchanan Towers residence hall at WWU. The WWU campus was also targeted with flyers from the Patriot Front, a known white supremacist group.
