Numerous sites in Bellingham and across Whatcom County are targeted with hate propaganda.

In July, a national white supremacist group called the Patriot Front posted flyers in downtown Ferndale during the Old Settlers Grand Parade. A confederate flag was also flown on a parade float.

In August, the Patriot Front posted similar material in Bellingham’s Fairhaven neighborhood.

In September, racial slurs were painted onto campaign signs of Whatcom County executive candidate Satpal Sidhu, one of which also had bullet holes shot through it.

That same month, Patriot Front stickers were found at WWU’s campus on buildings and a light pole.

In December, more Patriot Front propaganda was posted around Ferndale. Similar flyers were also found in Lynden during the previous six months.
