- Agree to the “Agreement of Use” Contract, either digitally here:

Content Standards
Viking Radio Theatre and KUGS have strict standards about offensive language and content. In order to ensure that your script is within these standards, please avoid the following:
- Profanity
- Racial jokes or insults, offensive stereotyping
- Graphic or explicit content
Some Guidelines:
Scripts can be anywhere between 5 and 30 minutes in length.
Generally, a piece should not have more than 6 speaking characters (but don’t let this kill the story).
Scripts do not necessarily need to be formatted to Radio Theatre conventions, but the closer, the better. There is a helpful template explaining the way Viking Radio Theatre format’s scripts available below.
Official Rules
Summary
The Viking Radio Theatre Script Contest (hereafter; Script Contest) is open to all persons 18 or older. All written pieces submitted to vikingradiotheatre@gmail.com during the contest timeline (December 1st, 2015 to January 15th, 2016) will be entered into the Script Contest.
By submitting your work to Viking Radio Theatre for the Script Contest, you are agreeing to allow Viking Radio Theatre a non-exclusive, royalty free, perpetual license to produce, perform and distribute your work in any media chosen by Viking Radio Theatre or its staff. All submitters will be required to agree to the “Agreement of Use Contract” either in physical or digital form.
Prizes
The Prizes for Finalists will include, in order of placement; (1) One Grand Prize of (1) $75 AS Bookstore Gift Card and their work featured in a special “Contest Winners” episode of Viking Radio Theatre to be aired during Winter Quarter 2016. The remaining finalists (depending upon number of scripts submitted and qualified) will receive an equally divided amount of Gift Cards to the AS Bookstore totaling $150, as well as their work featured in the special “Contest Winners” episode of Viking Radio Theatre.
Disqualification
Works will be disqualified from the Script Contest, should they violate one of the Content Standards upheld by Viking Radio Theatre. Works will be disqualified if the author has not agreed to the “Agreement of Use Contract” by the end of the contest period.
