Meet the WWU Wakeboard Team!

The WWU Wakeboard Team had it’s bumpy roads since the early 2000s, before being officially established in 2014. We are a team of wakeboarders ranging from beginner to expert with a passion for spreading the love of the sport to newcomers. Between March and December we practice weekly on a two-point cable system at Valley Wakepark in Abbotsford, BC. We also have some great community members that occasionally let us ride behind their boats on Lake Whatcom or Lake Samish.

We also travel to some of the top-rated cable parks in the U.S. for competitions. This includes our biannual trip to Sacramento, CA, and occasional others to parts of Washington,Texas or Florida.

We are stoked to take on any new members regardless of their skill level. We have riders that had never touched a wakeboard before joining our team, we have riders that compete in expert divisions, and everything in between! So come give it a shot!
