WesternOnline is the online teaching and learning support unit for Western Washington University. We support faculty and academic units in offering online courses and programs for Western students.
We provide course and program planning services, instructional design consultations, teaching and learning resources, development stipends, course review, and faculty professional development. We help academic units create meaningful, high quality learning experiences to meet the needs of diverse learners and improve access to Western’s educational opportunities.
WesternOnline partners with other institutional units to help foster best practices in online instruction as a member of the Teaching and Learning Cooperative.
