WesternOnline Faculty Mentor Program
WesternOnline offers faculty members skilled in online teaching to serve as mentors to other faculty looking to begin their journey into offering courses in the online modality. Mentors help WesternOnline staff deliver support and training for individuals looking to propose new courses, improve their online course design, student engagement, and apply best practices. Mentors are compensated quarterly for their participation and contributions to growing WesternOnline’s community of practitioners by creating and sharing examples of courses, content, materials, and activities, providing guidance on online course proposal processes, and participating in WesternOnline professional development offerings.
