Before you use the WesternOnline template…
- We recommend starting with an empty course shell and rebuilding your course based on the template structure. This is the easiest way to implement the template elements.
- You should be familiar with how to use Canvas features like: creating, managing, and editing pages, and working with modules in your Canvas course.
How do I get access to the WesternOnline course template?
Please fill out the WesternOnline Template request form with your questions and/or course information.
We will respond with an invitation to schedule a consultation, import the template, and work with you to get you started. Make sure you request this at least two weeks prior to the start of term due to availability of our resources.
Modifying and using the template
You have the ability to customize the template as you see fit based on your level of comfort and expertise as a Canvas user. WesternOnline is able to support some requests for assistance with using the template, however, we highly recommend users be familiar with editing and adding content to pages and modules in Canvas, if you intend to modify or use the template.
