WesternOnline encourages faculty to develop online courses that consider the unique and diverse experiences from different groups and to mindfully incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion into their course design process.
There are several resources available that address diversity, equity, and inclusion in your online course. Below, you will find some excellent videos and other documents that were created as a result of the move to temporary, “remote” teaching. They address many key elements of teaching with an equity lens which transcend the “remote” teaching environment and are equally legitimate for online teaching, in general.
