Saturday’s Spring Commencement marked the end of a regular academic year in which approximately 3,200 undergraduate students and more than 250 master’s students graduated from Western during the past three academic terms. Approximately 1,900 undergraduate and 188 master’s students graduated during spring quarter, 575 undergraduate and 45 master’s students graduated during winter quarter, and 725 undergraduate and 30 master’s students graduated during fall quarter.
As the state’s third-largest public university, WWU takes pride in providing excellent academic programs that prepare graduates for life-long learning and careers in Washington. The nearly 3,500 new graduates join the more than 114,000 Western alumni that contribute in countless ways to local communities and the state and national economy.
