Yesterday Sara Wilson, WWU Executive Director for Student Success Initiatives, provided an update to the Senate Higher Education and Workforce Development Committee on the status of a pilot program funded by the Legislature in 2019 to support students experiencing homelessness.  Western and Eastern Washington University participated in the pilot program established under Senate Bill 5800 from 2019, as well as four community and technical colleges from around the state.
