Schedule Layout

Screening: 9PM on June 4th outside Old Main on WWU’s campus.

  • The kickoff event will be held via Zoom conference on Friday, May 19st at 5pm. During the kickoff event we will announce the required prop and line, as well as hold a ‘raffle’ to decide which group gets which genre. The Zoom link will be emailed to any participants in the week preceding the kickoff event.

  • At 5pm WWU 48 kickoff begins. NOT the timer for your 48 hours.

  • We only require that one person from each group joins the Zoom call, but everyone is welcome to join.

    • We are currently working to reserve equipment from ATUS for groups who need it. More information on this will be posted here soon.

    • We will review rules very briefly and talk about how to submit your films on Sunday. Please look at our rules page before arriving.

    • Each group will then pull a genre out of a ‘hat’.

    • We will reveal the assigned line and prop every group will have to include in their film. (The more creative, the better!)

    • Each group will have to fill out a contact sheet with some additional information before the timer begins and you are sent off.

    • 6:00pm- You’re off! You will have exactly 48 hours from then to finish and turn in your film

    • 6:00pm Sunday- Films are due
